Overview

MACOM offers four families of low cost surfacemount gallium arsenide tuning varactors. All familieshave silicon nitride protected junctions for lowleakage current and high reliability.The MA46H070 through MA46H073 family hashyperabrupt junctions with constant gamma of 0.75from 0 to 20 volts and very high quality factor.The MA46H070 through MA46H073 family hashyperabrupt junctions with constant gamma of 0.75from 0 to 20 volts and very high quality factor.The MA46H070 through MA46H073 (gamma0.75) family of constant gamma hyperabrupt GaAstuning varactors has quality factor approaching thatof abrupt junction varactors, but higher capacitancechange versus tuning voltage.These diodes arevery well suited for narrower bandwidth VCOs andVTFs where wide tuning range and very high qualityfactor are required.
